As with many version 1.0 products, people were having issues with the first generation of MacBook Pro systems. These issues ranged from:

• Overheating processors
• AirPort not joining the preferred network after waking up from sleep
• LCD backlighting flickering at lowest screen brightness

Well folks – Apple is addressing these issues with new replacement motherboards so check the Apple support website. If your issue is listed there and it’s bugging you, give them a call and see if they can replace your MacBook Pro motherboard for you.
