Adobe starts to target Mactel
Adobe Systems has announced that they will are planning to release Photoshop and their Creative Suite publishing software for the Mac-Intel platform sometime next spring. This is of course great news for Mac users since getting a platform specific version of Photoshop will surely speed things up for the application. Apple would love to have Adobe speed things up of course since many Mac users are heavy users of Photoshop and the Adobe suite of software applications. Despite the release of the new Intel based Macs, there just isn’t enough software available yet to make the move to Mactel (Mac-Intel) viable as of yet so Apple would love software companies to expedite their ports to the new platform.

W00T! Command & Conquer 3 Announced
Listen up C&C fans, there’s finally a new C&C coming out! Rumors had been circulating about that there might be a third edition of Command and Conquer and now EA has confirmed it. The new version will be called Command and Conquer III : Tiberium Wars. Since Tiberium is in the game title, it’s fair to say that the new C&C game will return us to the days of GDI vs NOD.. How cool is that! I still know plenty of people who play C&C Generals which was completely different from the original C&C although still a RTS game. The slated timeframe for C&C 3 is sometime in 2007.

Being an owner of the Treo 700w, I’m always interested in any case reviews for the Treo that I might come across - case in point the E&B Cases Treo 650 eNovo Case as reviewed by the folks at the Gadgeteer. This nice leather case features a flip open design which provides easy access to the Treo from your belt clip. Here’s the verdict from the Gadgeteer:
All in all, I am really happy with my eNovo case. I travel frequently and I am pleased to say the eNovo case has kept my Treo safe and unscratched. I would highly recommend the eNovo case to anyone looking for a leather flip cover Treo case.

Meedio sold to Yahoo
Here’s something interesting - Yahoo has apparently purchased most of Meedio’s technology and a number of Meedio’s head honcho are heading over to Yahoo’s Digital Home team as a result. Meedio had some pretty cool computer based PVR products and was even given an Editor’s Choice award. Interestingly enough, Yahoo did not buy the product line itself from Meedio but only their technology and intellectual property.

Matrox TripleHead2Go Review
ExtremeTech has posted a review of the new Matrox TripleHead2Go unit here on their website. The TripleHead2Go is basically an upgrade to Matrox’s DualHead2Go unit which allowed users the ability to have multi-monitor support with a single graphics card. As the name implies, the TripleHead2Go will allow users to support up to three monitors from a single card - great for those of you who need lots of desktop real estate space but don’t want to spend additional money for a super large monitor (three 17 inch monitors are cheaper than a 30 inch LCD). Here’s ExtremeTech’s verdict on the TripleHead2Go:
There’s no better way to drive three monitors, but analog-only resolution limits are disappointing and the cost is pretty steep.
