Pinnacle Systems introduces Mobile Media Maker and Manager for iPod and Sony PSP owners
More good news to iPod video and Sony PSP owners out there. In order to address the growing need for consumer level video management and conversion tools, Pinnacle Systems has announced solution products that allow mobile device owners to easily manage and transfer content from their PC to their portable device (such as the PSP and the iPod video). The new Pinnacle Systems software lineup consists of Mobile Media Maker and Mobile Media Manager.
Mobile Media Maker is a simple application that allows consumers to convert video files to iPod and PSP compatible formts.
Mobile Media Manager is an integrated application which helps convert and transfer media files to PSP, iPods, or DVDs. The Mobile Media Manager will help you organize your photos, music, audio, and video files and even create playlists.
You can expect these new products to come out in April with the Mobile Media Maker selling for $29 and the Mobile Media Manager selling for $49.

(NASDAQ: AVID) today announced that its consumer division, Pinnacle Systems, has introduced new software solutions that allow mobile device owners to easily manage and transfer rich media content from their personal computer to their favorite portable device, including Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) and Apple Video iPod. With the new Mobile Media line, consumers can take full advantage of their digital video content by converting their movies, TV shows and other media files to a playable format compatible with personal portable devices.

The Mobile Media line is also expected to be available at e-tailers such as Amazon.com, Dell.com and TigerDirect.com. Product prices begin at the USMSRP of $29 for Mobile Media Maker, and $49 for Mobile Media Manager.
