There’s been a flood of Windows Mobile based Smartphones recently but don’t kid yourself folks – there are still other options out there. There’s always Palm based Smartphones and of course – Linux based ones like the ImCoSys Linux Smartphone talked about over at GearLive.com. ImCoSys is a Swiss based company that started up back in 2005. They’ll be showcasing the phone at the upcoming CeBIT event next week (which I wish we were at). Details wise – the new phone features:

- WiFi and USB support
- 64MB Flash, 64MB SDRAM
- SD slot
- 240 x 320 transflective TFT screen
- Touch screen
- GPS module
- Measures 125 x 64 x 18 mm
- 40 polyphonic MIDI sounds
- Uses embedded Linux
- Supports various document formats
