Sony is coming out with a new prosumer digital camera model called the Sony Cybershot DSC-H5. The new H5 features a 7 megapixel CCD with a large three inch LCD screen in the back. Other features include a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 12x optical zoom lens (as expected of course), and focal length ranges of 36 mm to 432 mm. The camera also includes:

• Sony’s Clear RAW noise reduction technology for dealing with motion blur
• Sony’s Real Imaging Processor circuitry increases battery efficiency for quicker startup times and faster shot times

The new Sony Cybershot DSC-H5 will come with 32 MB of internal memory and should be available in May for around $500.
