Loremo LS – talk about driving efficiency
German startup car manufacturer Loremo, will be unveiling a new fuel efficent car this week at the Geneva Motor Show 2006. The car is called the Loremo LS and is powered by a 2 cylinder Turbo Diesal engine (so you know the efficiency is gonna rock). It has a 20 liter tank and can get a whopping 100 km for every 1.5 liters of diesel fuel (which means you can get roughly 62 miles for every liter of diesal fuel.. or put it another way – for 20 liters, you’ll get a whopping 1240 miles! Of course this isn’t exactly the fastest car out there – it goes 0 – 100 km/hour in 20 seconds and it’s top speed is 160km/h. However, the car only weighs 450 kg and can seat four passengers. There’s an on board PC, an integrated MP3 player, and a navigation system also.
For those looking for some more oomph – check out the Loremo GS which will give you a 50 hp engine and a fuel efficiency of 100 km for every 2 liters.
