One of the more interesting capabilities of the Xbox 360 is the ability for the console to play back unprotected MP3 content from a connected portable digital audio player. However, usually one cannot play back DRM protected content from music subscription services – at least until now. iRiver America is providing an update to their H10 line of music players that will allow the Xbox 360 to play back DRM protected content. The players are also PlaysForSure enabled which means they will work with PlaysForSure compatible online music stores. You can find the update here on iRiver’s website.
