PC World has posted a short review of the new Nikon D200 Digital SLR camera here on their website. Not familiar with the D200? No problems – here are the major features:
- 10.2 megapixel DX format CCD image sensor
- Large viewfinder with 0.94x magnification
- Durable magnesium alloy body
- 5 fps high speed continuous shooting
- Instant power up in 0.15 seconds
- Shutter release time lag of 50 ms
- 11 area Multi-CAM AF system with 7 area wide AF
- 2.5 inch LCD monitor with wide angle viewing to 170 degrees
- Wireless Transmitter WT-3 – supports 802.11 b/g
Here’s the verdict from PC World:
Until now, the Canon 20D was the leading candidate to be my next SLR. But the advent of Nikon’s D200 complicates matters–now I have to choose between two exceptional cameras.
