Apple has begun shipments of their new MacBook Pro line of notebooks featuring the Intel Core Duo processor. In a small twist, Apple upgraded the processors on the notebooks free of charge. The previously announced low end notebook had a 1.67GHz processor but will instead come with a 1.83GHz processor for the same price of $1999. The high end 1.83GHz processor has been replaced with a 2.0GHz Core Duo processor instead (for the same price).
