Your new Sony Bravia TV may not turn off
DId you happen to purchase a new Sony Bravia LCD TV this past year? Well if you did, you might want to listen up. Sony has announced that about 400,000 Bravia branded LCD and rear projection TV’s may malfunction due to faulty software. After 1,200 hours of use the TV’s may not be able to be turned off or switch out of stand by mode. The software in the TV sets can be upgraded but a Sony technician must come out and do this for you. This problem affects about 10 percent of the 4.2 million LCD and rear projection TV’s that Sony is planning on selling by March.
