Are you an iPod nano owner with a flair for the environment? Check out iLounge’s review of the Better Energy Systems Tread Flip Recycled Rubber case for the Apple iPod nano here on their website. This is the first commercially available, environmental friendly recycled rubber case for the Apple iPod. The specific version reviewed is called the Tread flip and is named thusly because of the flip cover on the case. The only major downside to the Tread flip – it doesn’t seem to have side protection so it’s not going to fare well in a pocket full of keys or dirt. Here’s the verdict:

 If not for its open sides, it would have rated considerably higher, but as-is, it’s memorably very good.
