There were several reports online earlier this week that Microsoft was considering a name change for the MSN division – however, Microsoft spokeperson Kathy Gill has announced that there will be no MSN brand name change. The rumors will fueled by comments made by MSN’s new general manager – John Nicol. He had referred to the MSN portal as the “MSN Media Network” which fueled speculation that perhaps MSN was going to undergo a new scheme. Although no name change will occur, MSN will certainly have changes in store as Nicol plans to enhance the entertainment and media services of the site.
