I’m a New Yorker at heart and I’m a messenger bag kid at heart which means I grew up using Manhattan Portage bags in High School. For the longest time I thought they were the best bags in the world – that is until I ran into the Crumpler messenger bag in Australia. Honestly – What drew me to a Crumpler bag initially was the stick figure icon that they use on all the bags.. but man – these bags are durable and they LAST so I’ve been a user of Crumpler bags ever since. Ok.. enough of the background info – I’m excited to see that the Gadgeteer has posted a review of the Crumpler Status Belly Bag here on their website. This bag is smaller than your typical messenger bag but still  holds quite a bit of well.. stuff! Here’s the verdict:

The Status Belly is not the bag for someone that needs to carry a lot of cables, devices and extra peripherals. However, it is a good choice for someone that wants a more casual purse which can also manage their daily necessities in an organized fashion.
