Pocket-Lint is reporting that Dell will be cutting back their MP3 player product lineup in the UK. Whether this represents a global cutback on their music player product line remains to be seen but it is apparent that the Dell DJ is having poor sales. The Ditty flash players will still be sold for now but the rest of the product line will be “streamlined and consolidated” – at least according to ” Dell spokesman – Liem Nguyen. It’s definitely a tough market for MP3 players out there.
