Here’s another review of the new Palm Treo 700w mobile phone posted at MobileBurn. In case you’ve NEVER ever heard of the 700w – it’s basically Palm’s first Windows Mobile powered Treo phone and it runs with Verizon Wireless (for now). You get Windows Mobile 5, a customized UI from Palm, EV-DO support, SDIO support, Bluetooth support, and a color screen. Is it the best Windows Smartphone out there? I don’t think so but here’s what MobileBurn thinks:
There is little bad to be said about Palm’s Treo 700w. If you are a fan of Microsoft OS devices, or if you simply want a powerful and easy to use PDA phone, the 700w is my top pick. The form factor and ergonomics are very nice, and Palm’s own tweaks to the operating system go a long ways toward making the 700w the most phone-like Windows Mobile PDA phone on the market.
I still don’t think the 700w is a powerful Smartphone. It works and it provides the basic capabilities you’ll need but someone really has to solve the memory issues on the phone.
