HP rx1950 Navigator GPS bundle
HP is partnering with ViaMichelin to enter the GPS business with the new rx1950 Navigator GPS bundle. The kit is essentially the rx1950 PDA, a cradle for the PDA, and GPS software from ViaMichelin all rolled up into a single package. The GPS receiver actually resides in the cradle which means you slide the rx1950 into the cradle and the PDA directly interfaces with the GPS receiver using the bundled software. The software provides your normal points of interest (POI) and can also be upgraded using data from the ViaMichelin website. This kit is ideal for car owners since the GPS receiver is in the cradle but it isn’t ideal for those of you needing a GPS receiver for long hikes etc.
