PC Magazine has posted a review of the HP Pavilion LC3700N LCD Televison set here. The specs on the LC3700N look pretty impressive. It’s a 37 inch LCD with the following features:

  • Resolution of 1280 x 720
  • Component, Composite, DVI, HDMI, RF, S-Video inputs
  • NTSC, ATSC, CableCard support
  • 800:1 Contrast Ratio
  • Brightness of 399.1 cd/m2
  • Support for 480p, 720p, 1080i

What’s interesting about the LC3700N is that it actually uses a Sharp LCD panel and we all know that Sharp Aquos sets are generally excellent in quality. Here’s the verdict from PC Magazine:

Utilizing a Sharp LCD panel, the stylish HP Pavilion LC3700N shares the same image quirks we have encountered in other Sharp Aquos displays, but its consistent performance with a variety of analog and digital sources makes it a good choice for people looking for a fully loaded HDTV.
