PC World is reporting that Sony is on track to launch its first digital SLR camera by the middle of this year. The camera will be launched in Japan first followed by other markets around the world. Sony’s new digital SLRs will feature technology it acquired from Konica Minolta when the company decided to exit the camera business this week.
