TrustedReviews has posted a review of the Samsung i300 (yes the i300x was just recently announced – that one features a 4GB HDD) candy bar style Windows Mobile phone here. The i300 comes with a 3GB HDD inside which means it’s an ideal candidate for muiltimedia phone users. You can use Windows Media Player 10 to easily upload music to the phone but unfortunately TrustedReviews found the music playback to be a bit lacking. The i300 also runs Windows Mobile 2003 SE and not the latest Windows Mobile 5 OS. Spec wise, the i300 comes with a TransFlash card slot on the side, Mobile Office applications, a 1280 x 1024 digital camera, and measures 113 x 48 x 20mm while weighing 121 grams. Here’s their verdict:

The main party trick of the Samsung i300 is its 3GB hard disk, which makes it far more viable for music and video content. The downside is that it’s slightly bulkier than other Windows Mobile Smartphones but for many the benefit of the extra capacity means that this will be a price worth paying.
