Alienware has announced that they are upping the amount of available storage on the Area-51m 7700 laptop to a whopping 320 GB (it’s actually two 160GB drives in RAID-0 configuration). Each of the two drives spins at 5400 RPM and you can have this upgrade option for an additional $635 dollars. The laptop itself is a monster of a system. You can get a 3.8GHz Pentium 4 processor inside, the latest NVIDIA GeForce Go 7800 GPU, HD video support, FOUR integrated speakers and subwoofer, and a 17 inch LCD display. Heck if you decide to get 320GB of storage space, you might as well configure the laptop to use Windows Media Center 2005 for PVR capabilities.
