Looking back at CES 2006, one just had to laugh at the whole Samsung vs Panasonic Plasma Display title fight. Samsung entered CES 2006 proclaiming that they had the world’s largest plasma TV at 102 inches. Apparently they didn’t realize that Panasonic had already announced that they would be displaying a 103 inch model at CES 2006 also. Thus, Samsung’s booth originally had a title that said “The World’s Largest Plasma TV – 102″ which quickly changed to “The World’s First 102″ Plasma TV”. Whoops.. lost the crown eh?
