The GX-1S was developed in cooperation with Pentax Corporation because let’s face it – Samsung isn’t exactly known for their digital cameras. The GX-1S is a six megapixel D-SLR with a 2.5 inch LCD, 16 segment multipattern metering, and an 11 point autofocus sensor. The kit lens is a Schneider Kreuznach D-Xenon 18mm-55mm lens and the GX-1S is supposedly compatible with many Pentax D-SLR lens and KAF2 and KAF mount lens.
