I’ve been waiting for this one – PC Magazine has finally released their review of the new Palm Treo 700w.  You can read the review here. I’m still working on the full review of the 700w myself for both Krunker and for MobileWhack.com but you should check out the PC Mag review yourself. It’s not too surprising actually – the 700w isn’t as revolutionary or amazing as many people have been hoping for out of Palm. Here’s the verdict:

The first Windows Treo’s form factor is still attractive, but this isn’t as much of a step forward as we would have liked.

Aside from the verdict, the “cons” section is probably ever more revealing:

Small screen. Shortage of RAM causes crashes. Can’t use as PC modem.
