An analyst from the NFD Group has announced that Microsoft has thus far sold approximately 600,000 Xbox 360 consoles in the U.S. The Xbox 360 launched back in November of 2005 and Microsoft has announced that it expects to sell approximately 4.5 million to 5.5 million consoles by June 30th, of 2006. However, shipments of the console have been short of expectations so many out there actually expected Microsoft to sell far more consoles than this.
