Toshiba Gigabeat ME S30 and S60
As we mentioned a few days ago, the new Toshiba Gigabeat S series of portable media centers would be coming in two sizes – a 30 GB hard drive model and a 60GB hard drive model. Well Let’s Go Digital has managed to scrounge up a bit more info. The two models are officially called the ME S30 and the ME S60 for the 30 and 60 GB models. Both models use a Freescale processor (the i.MX31) as its CPU and the Freescale MC13783 power management chip for of course – power management capabilities. Other capabilities include a 320 x 240 2.4 inch TFT screen and a new “plus touch” design which is push activated with buttons that have a soft touch for precise and simple navigation.
