Let’s face it – anytime you have the word “Frag” in the name of a product, it’s got to draw the attention of gamers all over. And that’s exactly the hope of Falcon Northwest with their new FragBook DR 6800. This high end gaming and multimedia laptop is powerful AND expensive. Inside, you’ll find a 3.6GHz Pentium 4 660 processor, 1 – 2GB of memory, a 7200 rpm 120GB HD, dual layer dual format DVD burner, a 17 inch widescreen display, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7800 GTX graphics, WiFi, LOTS of ports, and a 7 in 1 card reader. With all of these features, the Falcon Northwest FragBook DR 6800 weighs 13 whopping pounds so make sure your back is in good shape. This machine isn’t going to be a battery life champion at all but it’ll rock your graphics world. The verdict from LaptopMag:

Falcon Northwest claims the price is dropping and will continue to drop, but for now the DR 6800 costs nearly a grand more than the slimmer and just-as-powerful Dell XPS M170. Those who crave an extreme gaming notebook that doesn’t look like anything else in the world will likely shrug off the sticker shock. This rig was designed to make the Joneses jealous, and it does that with the unapologetic glee of a touchdown dance.
