Samsung has announced the new t709 slider mobile phone which includes support for WiFi wireless networking in addition to EDGE data networking. With support for both networking styles in place, the t709 allows a user to easily roam from location to location without losing their data connections. In addition, the t709 features a 262k color TFT screen, a 1.3 megapixel digital camera, an MP3 player, a video player, dual stereo speakers, speakerphone, and speaker independent voice recognition.
