New Samsung Mobile TV handsets
MobileKorea has information on a number of new handsets that Samsung announced and showed off during CES 2006. The first batch of handsets are designed to support satellite and terrestrial DMB television broadcasts. Let’s go over the new handsets:
There’s the Samsung B300 which is due out in Q1 of this year in Korea. It’s got a rotating upper portion which can rotate the display from portrait mode to landscape mode. The B300 supports EV-DO networks, satellite DMB broadcasts, a 2 megapixel digital camera, video recording, an integrated MP3 player, and TV output.

The second handset is the Samsung B330 which is also due out during the first quarter of 2006. It’s also a satellite DMB capable mobile phone with support for EV-DO networks. Features include a 3 megapixel digital camera, video recording, video on demand and music on demand, integrated MP3 player, TV output, and Bluetooth wireless technology.
Thirdly.. we have the Samsung B340 handset. It’s supposedly the world’s slimmest mobile TV phone with support for Satellite DMB broadcasts. 2 megapixel digital camera, video recording, integrated MP3 player, gesture recognition, and TV output are some of the features found on the B340.
Finally, you have the B4100 – one of the funkier designs. It’s a clamshell phone with a rotating upper screen. It’s the worlds first dual DMB phone with support for both satellite and terrestrial DMB broadcasts. Other features are similar to the above phones.
