OK. this definitely won’t fit in my apartment. Matsushita Electric Industrial ( you know them better as Panasonic) is showing off a prototype plasma display at CES which measures a whopping 103 inches. That’s right.. you heard me correctly.. 103 inches. Is this big? yeah it’s big. But is it dramatically bigger than the competition? Welllll.. not really. Remember that Samsung demoed a 102 inch model at last year’s CES so this one is just an inch longer. Big whoop right? Well it’s all about bragging rights folks. People want the biggest screens out there and they want to know who makes them. Well that would be Panasonic followed by Samsung. Oh yeah – spec wise, this 103 inch plasma is capable of 1080p with a native res of 1920 x 1080. Keep in mind that this is a prototype plasma.. don’t expect it in the stores anytime soon.
