The Kodak EasyShare V570 was just introduced and PC Magazine is out with a review of the dual lens camera here. A bit of background first – the V570 provides two Schneider Kreuznach C-Variogon lenses – each accompanied by 5 megapixel CCD image sensors. One lens is a wide angle lens while the other lens is a supposed 5x optical zoom lens (which PC Mag states really isn’t – it’s more like a 3x optical zoom lens). There’s no viewfinder, but you’ll find a nice 2.5 inch LCD screen on the rear of the camera. You can also shoot VGA video at 30 fps. Here’s the verdict from PC Magazine:
The Kodak EasyShare V570 is a unique camera that lets you capture unusual views of the world, but providing two lenses doesn’t automatically make it the best ultracompact around.
