Fujifilm announces four new digital cameras
Fujifilm has announced four new digital cameras right before the launch of CES 2006. The four new cameras are the FinePix V10, the FinePix A400, the FinePix A500, and the FinePix F470. Let’s get into some of the details here:
The FinePix V10 is a five megapixel digital camera featuring Fujifilms’ Super CCD HR image sensor. It’s the first camera in Fujifilms’ 2006 lineup to include their new Real Photo Technology which removes noise from digital pictures and allows cameras to take pictures at higher light sensitivities. The V10 can take pictures at values as high as 1600 ISO at the full resolution of the image sensor. Other features on the V10 include a large 3 inch color LCD, a special amplification layer that boosts the strength of the LCD and makes it easier to see, built in video games in case you get bored, 3.4x optical zoom lens, and 30 frame playback mode for viewing groups of photos on the LCD. The V10 will retail for $349 and you should expect the camera this March.
The FinePix A400 and the A500 both feature Fujifilm’s Super CCD image sensor. The A400 has a four megapixel sensor and the A500 has a five megapixel sensor. Other features on the new A series cameras include 3x optical zoom, internal memory, and scene modes. The A400 will sell for $149 and the A500 will sell for $179. Both will be available in Feb. of 2006.
Finally, Fujifilm released a thin digital camera called the F470. How thin? The F470 is 20 mm thick which is no thicker than a deck of playing cards. Other features on this ultra small digital camera include a six megapixel digital camera, 16 MB of internal memory, and a 2.5 inch color LCD. The F470 will retail for $279 and should be available in March.
