Samsung has announced a new T-DMB mobile phone in Korea called the Samsung SPH-B2300 or otherwise known as the “Swing DMB Phone”. The phone offers a unique sliding/rotating screen design which provides two distinct modes of operation. If you want to use it as a phone, you can treat the phone as a regular slider phone. If you want to use it to watch television broadcasts, you can simply rotate the top portion to orient the screen in landscape mode. The phone comes with a TV-Out connector so you can view your DMB broadcasts on an external television screen. You can also watch TV while you make phone calls or text message friends. The phone will be available in Korea for $600.
