Rumors of a Sony 82 inch LCD TV at CES
Sony is supposedly readying the launch of an 82 inch LCD display at the upcoming CES event. If it’s true, this model would compete directly with Samsung’s own 82 inch model which was unveiled at CeBIT Germany earlier in the year. The new Sony model is expected to support a resolution of 1920 x 1080 but we’ll see if it has native 1080p support. The rumor has it that the screen will support 1080i as of now.
