PhotographBlog reviews the Ricoh Caplio R3 digital camera here. The R3 has apparently caused a bit of a stir over at PhotographyBlog since the review went up. Why you might ask? Well it’s a compact digital camera with a 7x optical zoom lens which is equivalent to 28-200mm lens. It also features an anti-shake mode, a 5 megapixel sensor, and a 2.5 inch color screen. The R3 sounds pretty impressive but what do the folks at PhotographyBlog think?
The Ricoh Caplio R3 could undoubtedly have caused a big splash if the image quality was up to scratch – I would have bought one myself! As it stands, save your money and pray that the future R4 finally solves Ricoh’s image quality issues.
Argh. that sucks.. with all these features you would think that Ricoh would fix the image quality issues. Oh well.. back to the drawing board.
