Dell recalls 35,000 Laptop Batteries
Listen up Dell laptop owners – there’s a battery recall which may affect you. Dell is recalling 35,000 Latitude, Precision, Inspiron, and XPS batteries because they may pose a fire risk. No one has been hurt as of yet but there have three cases where the batteries did damage table tops and desks. The recall affects laptops sold between October 5th, 2004 through October 13th, 2005. The laptops are: Dell Latitude models D410, D505, D510, D600, D610, D800, and D810; Inspiron models 510M, 600M, 6000, 8600, 9200, and 9300; the XPS Generation 2 notebook; and Precision M20 and M70 mobile workstations.
