TechGage reviews the Logitech MX610 Laser Cordless Mouse here. Yes it’s another laser tracking based mouse but this one has a new gimmick – two LEDs that flash when you get incoming email or when you get an incoming IM message. Other features include:

• Tilt wheel Plus Zoom scrolling
• Ultra-precise laser tracking
• 2.4 GHz digital cordless technology
• E-mail and IM alert buttons
• Forward, Back and Volume controls

The verdict?

I give the MX 610 an 8 out of 10 for the ease of use and the extended range afforded by 2.4Ghz, but the few little issues I had with it prevent it from getting a 10.
