Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX1 Review
Good ol steve – you can always rely on him for a new digital camera review – this time it’s the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX1 here. I’ve been particularly interested in this point and shoot wonder – mostly because of its’ ability to shoot 16:9 ratio images, and the high 8+ megapixel resolution. The camera features:
- 8-megapixel CCD captures enough detail for photo-quality 16-by-22-inch enlargements
- 4x optical zoom Mega Optical Image Stabilization; 2.5-inch LCD display
- Power LCD function termporarily boosts backlighting by about 40% for ease of use in sunny conditions
- Unlimited Consecutive Shooting allows you to shoot 3 frames per second at full resolution until your memory card is full
- Powered by Lithium-ion battery pack (included); stores images on SD memory cards (16 MB card included)
The verdict from Steve?
the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX1 is an awesome consumer digital model. It offers a great deal of flexibility, full of exposure modes for every level of photographer in your family. Interchangeable aspect ratios for various applications, speedy shooting performance and great image quality help make this camera a tight little package.
Looks like the LX1 is a winner.
