If you’re looking to add an HDTV tuner to your PC but you’re out of PCI expansion slots, you might want to consider the DViCO FusionHDTV5 USB Gold. One of my friends at work actually bought one from DigitalConnections and is loving the HD reception. The folks over at eHomeUpgrade also took a stab at reviewing the unit here and apparently loved it. However, I know a few people who had some hardware conflicts with this device and especially with DViCO FusionHDTV PCI cards. If you can get past that, you’ll find the DViCO cards are great at HD reception. I almost settled on the Fusion 5 myself but I ended up with a AverMedia card instead. Anyhow, the verdict from eHomeUpgrade is:

if you have an HDTV set and a XP or Media Center PC attached to it, you owe it to yourself to get the FusionHDTV5 USB Gold. The signal strength was impressive, the setup was mostly painless and the device is compact and easily transportable.
