LG Electronics’ 50 inch Plasma Display Panel 50PB2DW has won the CES 2006 Best of Innovations award for Digital Displays. There isn’t a whole lot of information out about this panel but the text description on the CES website makes it sound like this panel receives video transmissions wirelessly from a separate transmitter. That would make sense – connect your video sources to a separate box and then place the panel wherever you see fit. Then wirelessly transmit video to the panel.
