Fujitsu won an innovation award in Biometrics at CES 2006 for its PalmSecure Authentication system. How does it work? The system verifies users identities by recognizing the pattern of blood veins in the palm which are unique to each person. The authentication algorithm produces a very high level of accuracy and application versatility.
