Here’s an interesting portable speaker system designed for portable audio players and mobile phones. It’s called the MPker M-1000 Mobile Application Speaker and it’s currently only available in Korea. The M-1000 has two speakers on each side which are normally hidden during transport. When you’re ready to use the speakers, just slide them out and insert your device in the middle. I’m curious how the speakers connect to the variety of devices out there – probably through regular headphone jacks I imagine.
