Cambridge Audio Azur 640H music server reviewed
The folks over at AVReview have posted up a review of the Azur 640H Music Server system. The Azur 640H is both a music server and a music streaming device – capable of streaming audio from networked PCs and Macs and also storing large quantities of music from ripped CDs. The 640H is capable of connecting to Internet music services and downloading songs as well as obtaining song information from online databases. It has a built in 160GB hard drive as well as a CD burner which will let you create CDs from your music library. Here’s AVReview’s verdict:
It may have been a long time coming, but yep, it was worth the wait. The 640H is an amazing piece of kit, offering excellent CD playback and an intuitive and powerful music database. Okay, so some of the networking stuff can be a bit tricky for the novice user, but with a little bit of perseverance you’ll soon be storing all your CDs in the loft and find yourself relying on this device.
