MobileBurn has some pictures of the new Nokia N92 handset which is a DMB-H TV capable handset. They show the N92 receiving a CNN signal being broadcast via a hotel antenna in the same building. Receiving television signals via your mobile phone appears to be the next major craze. Phone manufacturers have already conquered the digital camera and the camcorder so why not work on receiving television signals too? I suppose it makes sense – especially for people who commute on public transportation. The N92 looks to be a bit on the heavy side weighing in at 191g. It’s also wider but shorter than the N90 which is already a fairly large clamshell phone. The N92 is slated for Europe next year. Check out MobileBurn for additional pictures on the phone.
