I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised by these things. A Chicago man who bought the Xbox 360 has decided to bring a class action lawsuit against Microsoft claiming the new game console has design flaws that cause it to overheat and malfunction. The lawsuit claims that Microsoft was so intent on releasing their next generation console before Sony or Nintendo that it ended up releasing a “defectively designed” product.

Honestly, I’ve yet to run into this supposed “heat” problem that some others have come across. I often think that people are not ventilating the system well enough, maybe even placing the brick of a power supply right on the Xbox 360 itself. Please make sure to give the system some breathing room. It’s going to get hot and it’s best if you give it some ventilation. However, I’ve been playing hours on end with the 360 and I’ve yet to run into any temperature issues.
