It looks like iTunes video sales are doing fairly well – at least according to a research note recently released by American Technology Research analyst Shaw Wu. In the note, Wu indicates that iTunes video sales are coming in ahead of expectations and they may have already doubled since Apple’s announcement at the end of October that it sold 1 million videos. If sales are indeed moving briskly, this will certainly turn heads at major networks who have not yet signed on board with Apple. Rumors are already swirling that Jobs will announce new content partners over the next few quarters for the iTunes service. Good times.
