Xbox 360 distribution comments by Larry Hryb
Larry Hryb, the Xbox Live Director of Programming, has written up a piece on his blog here about the current situation of Xbox 360 shortages as well as replacements and other rumors. Basically the short end of it all is – Microsoft is shipping as many Xbox 360′s as they can. There are not holding back any systems to hype up demand or drive up prices. The systems are going out as they make them and the company is on track to ship between 2.75 million to 3 million consoles in the first 90 days. That’s pretty incredible folks. There is no recall folks – let’s stop this rumor please and finally, if you have a problem with your Xbox 360, call 1-800-4MYXBOX. Pretty simple. It’s a good read so check it out.
