Well it’s no surprise here but folks in the UK showed up at their retailers only to find out that the Xbox 360 was long sold out. Microsoft provided 300,000 units for the Xbox 360 launch which was clearly not enough for the demand that was there (although I4U.com reported that Germany still had some core systems available – who wants a core system anyhow?). In any case, this really shouldn’t surprise people by now. It’s going to be a long holiday season for some folks out there.
