Sony has announced that they will be coming out with a new car stereo called the Giga Panel. What’s unqiue about the Giga Panel is the removable faceplate which houses 1 GB of flash memory. You can then connect the Giga Panel to your PC and upload MP3 files directly to the flash memory using Windows Explorer. You don’t need to use an external third party application for file uploads. If you happen to have ATRAC files, you’ll need to burn them onto a CD since the flash player doesn’t seem to support ATRAC files.
