Samsung has announced that it has developed the world’s largest transmissive TFT LCD display (flexible LCD panel) with enough resolution to display digital television content. The new flexible panel is seven inches long and has a resolution of 640 x 480 - it’s also able to maintain a constant thickness even when the panel is bent. The target audience for flexible panels include mobile devices such as mobile phones, laptops, and Tablet PCs.
