Ok folks – Olympus is officially exiting the digital music player market. This was announced today via a press release on Reuters where Olympus also mentioned that they would be focusing their digital camera business on higher end digital SLR cameras as opposed to compact ones. Why higher end ones? They cost more so they have higher gross profits. Makes sense to me. So say goodbye to the m:robe – they weren’t all that great to begin with anyhow but at least they looked cool.
